The Family Life Office Monthly Notes on Marriage and Family Life

Communion of Life and Love is a monthly publication by the Family Life Office of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

One side of the publication (“Notes on Marriage and Family Life”) is “bulletin ready”—in other words, it is intended especially for pastors to xerox, for insertion into their parish bulletins or for putting at the entrances and exits for their churches for distribution to their parishioners. On this side of Communion of Life and Love, we discuss great ways for families to live their lives as the “domestic church,” upcoming workshops and conferences that the Family Life Office is organizing or recommending for parishioners, natural family planning resources, new additions to the Family Life Office website, and anything else that our office thinks might be of interest to families and individuals in the pews.

The other side of the publication (“Notes for Clergy on Marriage and Family Life”) is intended for pastors and other priests, to inform them about clergy workshops, information that they as priests would be interested in (such as news about marriage preparation ministry, FOCCUS workshops, etc.), and events that they might be interested in advertising to their parishioners in their parish bulletin.
