CARDINAL RIGALI TO CELEBRATE MIGRATION MASS


Cardinal Justin Rigali, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will be the celebrant and homilist for the annual Migration Mass which celebrates the rich cultural diversity of Catholics in the Philadelphia region.

Ethnic procession ~ 2:00 p.m.
Mass ~ 2:30 p.m.
Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul
18th Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway
Philadelphia


50 countries will be represented through ethnic dress and banners in the procession from the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul Chapel to the Cathedral.

11 choirs will lead the Mass in song and Scripture reading and prayers will be proclaimed in nine different languages. The faithful in attendance represent the many groups of immigrants who call the Philadelphia region home.
