DREXEL NEUMANN ACADEMY AWARDED
ETHEL SERGEANT SMITH MEMORIAL FUND GRANT
School Receives $25,000 grant for technology purchases

Drexel Neumann Academy is a Catholic school located in Chester, Pennsylvania. Drexel Neumann Academy is co-sponsored by Neumann College, Saint Katharine Drexel Parish, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and the Sisters of Saint Francis of Philadelphia.

Drexel Neumann Academy received word from Wachovia Bank that they were selected as recipients of the Ethel Sergeant Smith Memorial Fund grant of $25,000. The funds will be used to provide classrooms with laptop computers, projectors, and white boards, allowing for endless opportunities for instruction.

The uniqueness of the school lies in the small class size, a multiple intelligences approach to instruction which recognizes the giftedness of each child, and a curriculum which prepares the students for future academic endeavors. We provide our students with an extended school day and extended school year.

Drexel Neumann Academy is an independent elementary school with a Franciscan charism. In the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi, we see Christ in each other and seek to be witnesses of the Gospel message.
