COME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

Hello, this is Cardinal Rigali.

There are many reasons that people stop attending Mass or stop going to Church. This is unfortunate. With Christmas coming so quickly, this is a wonderful time to renew your relationship with God and come back to Church.

In the parable about the lost sheep, Jesus demonstrates that he cares about each one of us - especially those who may have strayed from His love. As the shepherd rejoices, so Jesus is delighted when you turn back to Him. It does not matter how long you have been away.

Advent is a time for reconciliation. Talk with a priest or someone who can answer any questions or concerns you may have. Receive the Sacrament of Penance (Confession) to prepare spiritually for Christmas. Come to Mass on Christmas and the Sundays that follow. Jesus waits to embrace you with His love.

May God bless you all.
