Easter
The great feast of Easter is proclaimed with these exultant words, "Rejoice, heavenly powers! Sing choirs of angels! Exult, all creation around God's throne! Jesus Christ, our King, is risen! Sound the trumpet of salvation!" .
How great is our joy in the triumph of Christ. How comforted we are by His victory. It is a victory for us to share in. The price of Christ's victory was His total surrender to the Father's will. In other words, His obedience, agony, passion and death. We too will know the power of His resurrection as we surrender to God's will in our lives. Jesus Christ is our way. He is risen, let us rise and go with Him.
