CHRISTIAN JOY

Hello, this is Cardinal Rigali.

"A sad saint is a sorry saint," wrote Saint Francis de Sales. But how does one live a joy-filled life in these challenging times, when there is so much stress all around us. Saint Thomas Aquinas offers us this key, "No man truly has joy unless he lives in love."

The first step to living joyfully is to recognize that God is Love and that He loves us unconditionally. When we accept God's love and live in His love, then we experience joy as a fruit of our life of love. Such love involves personal sacrifice. But the sacrifice of Jesus, gives grace and blessing to ours. What an adventure it is, to live in God, to live in love, to be filled with joy.

May God bless you!
