FATHERHOOD

Hello, this is Cardinal Rigali. Father's Day is a wonderful opportunity to recognize fathers and the important role they play in families. I encourage you to take the time to show your appreciation for your father or for those who have been like a father to you.

God the Father is the supreme role model for fathers. He is all-loving and all-forgiving and wants us to follow His example. I pray for all fathers and for those who fulfill the role of a father. Theirs is an important task. I ask God to provide strength and wisdom for them in all they do.
