The Office for Divine Worship will hold a workshop for coordinators of Parish lectors presented by Reverend Dennis Gill, Director. Instituted lectors are encouraged to attend to assist coordinators in their role of training new lectors. The workshop is open to all interested in the liturgical ministry of lector and will provide an overview of the ministry of lector from a liturgical and theological perspective. Skills, evaluation and on-going formation of lectors will be discussed.Guidelines for the role and duties of the lector will be presented and distributed. PLEASE REGISTER BY 23 SEPTEMBER 2011.
