The Web Site Subcommittee has been working with the individual parish web pages. They plan to put parish events on the web that will be of interest to parishioners and their children in the Cluster.
The Printed Media Subcommittee will prepare a PRESS PACKET with up-to-date information regarding Cluster events. They will also advertise local Cluster events, plus the televised Sunday Mass schedules, in the area newspapers.
ADULT RELIGIOUS EDUCATION:
This Subcommittee is promoting two upcoming events throughout the Cluster:
a. March 7, 2001 - A Spirituality talk on St. Katharine Drexel at Our Lady of
Calvary Parish
b. May 5, 2001 - Archdiocesan "Spring Fest" - a major event for youth of our
Diocese.
EVANGELIZATION:
Four parishes are participating in "Disciples in Mission." Two parishes are visiting inactive
parishioners. Five parishes are greeting parishioners at their weekend Masses, and two parishes have a Sunday Hospitality
program. St. Dominic Parish has an active Neo-Catechumenate group.
LAY LEADERSHIP/LAITY TRAINING:
A member from the Archdiocesan Office for Youth and Young Adults spoke with this Subcommittee and discussed
strategies for meeting young adults on their level. Members of this subcommittee will contact young adults already
involved in existing young adult groups in the Archdiocese and will invite them to a meeting planned for September
2001.
