Cluster 23 Parishes Work Together To Implement Plan

Cluster 23 / Philadelphia-South Vicariate

St. Edmond St. Thomas Aquinas

The Cluster 23 Implementation Team held its ninth meeting on January 31, 2001.

St. Charles Borromeo School is conducting a Viability Study which is nearing completion. The final report will be sent to the Regional Vicar before Lent, 2001.

There will be two Lenten Penance Services for the Cluster:

    • St. Edmond Church - Tuesday, April 3rd, at 7:00 PM.
    • St. Aloysius Church - Saturday, April 7th, at 3:00 PM. Everyone is also invited to participate in the 4:00 Vigil Mass for Palm Sunday.

Also, a May Crowning is planned for May 16th at King of Peace Church. Please mark these important dates on your calendar.

The Cluster Stewardship Committee will resume their monthly meetings in February.

Father Lee and Father Taraborelli will be meeting with Sister Kathleen, IHM to plan a gathering for the Cluster on Lay Leadership. Details will be forthcoming.
The pastors of Cluster 23 are also investigating membership in EPOP (Eastern Pennsylvania Organizing Project) in an attempt to unite faith institutions and neighborhood institutions in working together to address various social issues in the community such as security, education, welfare reform, etc.
