The parishes in Cluster 67 have accomplished much since Cardinal Bevilacqua approved the Pastoral Plan in January.

GOALS
1. Pastoral Services - Continue to provide pastoral services that will satisfy and fulfill the needs of the people in light of the reduction of priests assigned to our Cluster.

2. Evangelization - Proclaim Jesus Christ and His call to discipleship for active and inactive parish members in the Cluster.

3. Stewardship - Call Catholics to greater discipleship to make better use of their gifts of time, talent, and treasure.

4. & 5. Youth and Young Adults - To nurture the faith of our youth (birth through high school) and young adults (18 to 30 years) to assist them in responding to becoming a disciple of Jesus.

To This Point

All five parishes gathered to celebrate the approval of the Plan as well as the kick-off of the implementation with a grand Eucharistic Celebration, complete with the first performance of the Cluster Choir.

The Implementation Team has met several times to train, organize, and begin to put this plan into action.

Sub-committees are established for each cluster goal.

The spiritual needs of Crozer Chester Medical Center will now be shared with appropriate parishes outside the cluster.

The priests of this cluster are one less in number due to the fact that there are not enough priests available to replace the senior priest who retired at OLC.

GOING FORWARD

The first joint meeting for all Pastoral Councils in the cluster is scheduled for November 8.

Sub-committees are meeting throughout the summer and will recommend specific ideas / plans to bring renewal to the parish communities through the goals established as outlined below.

The next meeting for Cluster 67's Implementation Team is scheduled for September 14, 2000, 7:00 at Nativity B.V.M.
