Vigils for life
Father John R. McFadden will conduct the Helpers of God’s Precious Infants vigil for life Saturday, July 26, at Presentation B.V.M. Church, Cheltenham. The rosary will be prayed at 6:30 a.m. at Tabor Road abortion center followed by Mass at 8 a.m. at Presentation. A vigil will also be held July 26 at the 8th and Cherry Streets abortion site, Center City, followed by Mass at 9 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Church, 915 Vine St.

Holy Family University has begun offering a pastoral counseling concentration within the existing master’s of science degree in counseling psychology. Students in the program are prepared to meet the mental and spiritual needs of the individuals and families they will minister to. Festival
St. Ann Byzantine Catholic Parish will hold its annual Slavic-American festival from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 20 on the parish grounds, 5408 Locust Lane, Harrisburg. Come and enjoy famous Slavic culinary specialties, games and music. For your convenience and comfort, bring your own chair. Restriction: no carry-in food, drinks, or picnic tables.
