Statement of Purpose

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia Parish Pastoral Council Program serves pastors and parishes by supporting the work of Parish Pastoral Councils (PPC's) and formation of their members by:

• Providing consultation to pastors and parish pastoral councils through parish visits, phone and email.
• Assisting with implementation of Rationale, Principles and Guidelines for Parish Pastoral Councils.
• Conducting election, orientation and, ongoing member formation and skills building workshops.
• Providing resources for PPC formation and implementation.
