As you may have heard, the federal government has mandated coverage of contraception and sterilization in almost all health insurance plans in the United States. This poses a serious threat to religious liberty and our right to act according to our consciences.

The Pennsylvania Catholic Conference and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops have asked that we take immediate action, by calling, faxing or e-mailing our Members of Congress to urge them to co-sponsor and support the Respect for Rights of Conscience Act introduced in the House of Representative as H.R. 1179 and in the Senate as S.1467.
