Re: Traditional Palm Sunday Procession from St. Mary Magdalen of Pazzi Church to St. Paul's Church though the Italian Market in South Philadelphia

The Church of St. Mary Magdalen of Pazzi at 7th and Montrose Sts. In South Philadelphia will be used as the ecclesia collecta on Palm Sunday, April 17, 2011, weather permitting, for the traditional Latin Blessing and Distribution of Palms at 12 noon. The celebrant, congregation and schola will then process through the Italian Market to St. Paul's Church at 9th and Christians Sts. while singing Gloria, Laus et Honor Tibi Sit and antiphons and psalms in the traditional liturgy. The sung traditional Latin Mass will start at St. Paul's Church at 12:30 PM where those not able to walk in the procession may wait. In the event of rain, the Blessing of Palms and Procession will take place at St. Paul's Church.
Montrose Street is one full block south of Christian Street.

(N.B. Compline is prayed in the main chapel not at the Altar of Repose)
