Catholic Social Services provides low-cost legal services to immigrants in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Services include assistance with asylum and citizenship applications and court representation in matters involving immigration.

HIAS (HEBREW IMMIGRANT AID SOCIETY) AND COUNCIL MIGRATION SERVICE OF PHILADELPHIA

HIAS and Council's services include pre-migration counseling to refugees who seek to assist close relatives to immigrate to the United States, support for elderly and disabled new Americans seeking naturalization, and assistance in gaining permanent residency. The Asylee Outreach Project links those granted political asylum to social and refugee services.

LUTHERAN CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES (LCFS)

LCFS offers specialized programs for refugees, torture survivors, unaccompanied refugee and undocumented children, and immigrant children and their families. Services include ESL and GED instruction and referrals to translations, behavioral health and foster care services and programs.

NATIONALITIES SERVICE CENTER

The Nationalities Service Center provides legal, social, and educational services to immigrants, refugees, and other non-English-speaking people. Services include refugee resettlement, economic self-sufficiency programs, English classes, legal assistance, interpretation, employment preparation, and programs for the elderly.

PENNSYLVANIA IMMIGRATION AND CITIZENSHIP COALITION (PICC)

PICC represents the needs of immigrants, migrants, refugees and other new Americans to policymakers, public officials, and the general public. Advocacy areas include increasing access to public services, improving law-enforcement relations, ensuring worker rights, and expanding access to driver's licenses, Social Security numbers and other documentation. PICC also registers new voters.

SOUTHEAST ASIAN MUTUAL ASSISTANCE ASSOCIATIONS COALITION (SEAMAAC)

SEAMAAC provides linguistically and culturally appropriate services for refugee communities in metropolitan Philadelphia. Services include English classes, driver's education, citizenship-test preparation, health literacy classes, after-school programs for youth, truancy prevention, maternal/infant health-care services, breast-cancer support, senior lunches, nutritional services, housing assistance, employment assistance, help obtaining infant and child car seats as well as clothes and furniture.
