Topic Area: Book Keeper, Accountant
Description: Responsibilities include, but not limited, setting up a data base on the computer, matching documents and entering into the data system, reconciling of monthly statements, coding of check request, paying bills on a weekly basis for the office. Verifying and posting account receivable transactions sort and file documents after posting.
Education/ Background:
High school/GED, College Student
Skills/ Background:
Experience working with QuickBooks, familiarity with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook and Publisher. Should be proficient at typing, excellent phone and communication skills, ability to multi-task, be organized, accurate, dependable with positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team with minimum supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must meet with office director Anna Vega once a week
- Must be present in office twice a week 2 to 3 hours a week
- Must design a database that is accessible to the director
- Reconcile monthly statements
- Posting transactions in database
- Reviewing collected data with director
