My experience as a volunteer at the Office of the Vicar for Hispanic Catholics has been the best experience of my life. The team of the office became my family the minute I decided to volunteer; and just like a family, we had times of joy and times of struggle but we never stopped supporting one another. By working with them, I confirmed that the “Lord came to me neither searching for the rich nor the wise” but for me and for my humble “labor”.
Exposure to a variety of activities in the Hispanic community, and development of leadership and social commitment, are among the learning experiences that you can get volunteering at this office; but most importantly you will learn that your effort is appreciated and that you can impact the community and help to build a better world.
