McDonald's Restaurants will honor William Fox Jr., longtime head basketball coach and teacher at Father Judge High School, with a special celebration for being selected to coach the McDonald's All American Basketball East team. Mr. Fox will be honored on

Fox, who is celebrating his 25th anniversary this year as a teacher in the Archdiocese, teaches business courses at the high school. In his 23 years coaching at Father Judge, he has an overall record of 443 wins and 216 losses, with an average of more than 19 wins per season. He is the third most victorious coach in Philadelphia Catholic League history and has made the Pennsylvania state playoffs 22 of the last 23 seasons. Two students from Fox's team, Brian Fox and Michael Pidhirsky, will also be honored for their nomination to the All American Basketball team.

Also on hand for the ceremony will be Father Robert Mulligan, Principal of Father Judge High School, William Koch, Assistant Head Coach, and members of the varsity basketball team.

McDonald's All American alumni include superstars Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal, Grant Hill, Patrick Ewing, Isaiah Thomas and Magic Johnson.
