CARDINAL BEVILACQUA TO CONFIRM
DISABLED PEOPLE AT DIVINE PROVIDENCE VILLAGE

Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will confirm 19 developmentally disabled people at Divine Providence Village.

Cardinal Bevilacqua will confirm eight children who are residents of St. Edmond's Home for Children in Rosemont, and 11 adults who live Divine Providence Village, or group homes operated by Divine Providence Village.

Divine Providence Village opened in 1984. It currently provides housing services for 108 adults, as well as individuals from the community. St. Edmond's Home, which has been in existence for over 80 years, currently provides residential care for 40 physically and mentally handicapped children.
