Four referees from the National Basketball Association will conduct a clinic for disabled young people at Don Guanella School on August 10. Don Guanella is an Archdiocese of Philadelphia school in Springfield, Delaware County for developmentally disabled youths ranging in age from six to 21.
The clinic will involve passing, shooting and other skills. There will also be a three-point shooting contest and the boys will be giving technical fouls to the referees.

The NBA referees are under the leadership of Tim Donaghy, a graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School in Springfield. Donaghy and referees Joe Crawford, Mark Wunderlich and Mike Callahan (all natives of Delaware County) will be joined by their wives and other high school referees as they conduct the clinic.
The referees will also be handing out NBA schoolbags, shirts and basketballs to the children. There will be a barbecue picnic following the clinic.
