CARDINAL BEVILACQUA TO LEAD GROUNDBREAKING
CEREMONY FOR NORRIS SQUARE SENIOR HOUSING, INC.
Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will lead a groundbreaking ceremony for Norris Square Senior Housing, Inc., an affordable elderly supportive housing project.

Norris Square Senior Housing will provide living space for 35 seniors. The project adjoins the Norris Square Senior Center.
Norris Square Senior Housing is funded with federal, state and municipal monies. Funding was arranged in part by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It is a joint project of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Norris Square Civic Association. This is the first time the Archdiocese has been involved in creating community-based permanent housing. The building will be managed by Pennrose Properties.
