The Community Service Corps (CSC) is a program of the Office for Youth and Young Adults, geared to high school students. CSC encourages and coordinates volunteer services throughout the community and involves hundreds of Philadelphia area teens.

Convocation 2000 is an energy-filled day consisting of workshops, the election of Community Service Corps officers, a liturgy, dinner and a dance.

The Liturgy will be at 5:00 p.m. Father Thomas Higgins, Director of the Office for Youth and Young Adults, will be the celebrant. During the liturgy, special programs will be highlighted as well as the conferring of the "Eagle of the Cross Award" to outstanding high school seniors.
