Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will celebrate a mass dedicated to the memory of John Cardinal O'Connor, Archbishop of New York on:

John Cardinal O'Connor died Wednesday, May 3, 2000 at the age of 80 after a long battle with brain cancer. The Southwest Philadelphia native was buried Monday, May 8th in New York. Cardinal Bevilacqua concelebrated the mass.

St. Madeline Church is the home parish of Mary O'Connor Ward, one of three siblings of Cardinal O'Connor. O'Connor's family, classmates, friends, and many priests are expected to attend. The mass is open to the public.
