Father Casey attended Thomas J. Lahey School, Greenlawn, N.Y., North Port High School, N.Y., and S.U.N.Y. College at Old Westbury, N.Y. before entering St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood.

The concelebrants are Reverend Monsignor Samuel Shoemaker and Reverend Peter Funk. The homilist is Reverend Henry J. McKee, and the deacons are Rev. Mr. Robert Burns and Rev. Mr. Richard Nightingale.
There are ten men in the Class of 2000. At the end of May, each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to a parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Cardinal to assist the pastor of a parish.
