Father Kunigonis attended St. Ambrose School and Cardinal Dougherty High School, both in Philadelphia, before entering St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood.

The concelebrants are Reverend Monsignor Leon Peck, Reverend Monsignor Stephen McHenry and Reverend Michael Picard. The homilist is Reverend Monsignor Stephen McHenry and the deacon is Reverend Mr. Peter Lenox.
There are ten men in the Class of 2000. At the end of May, each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to a parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Cardinal to assist the pastor of a parish.
