Father Shenosky attended Dallastown Area Middle School, Dallastown Area High School and Penn State University, before entering St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood.

Concelebrants are Bishop Joseph F. Martino, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, presiding, Reverend Monsignor D. James McGettigan, Reverend Monsignor Andrew J. Hanlon, Reverend James E. McVeigh and Reverend Anthony W. Janton. The homilist is Reverend Frederick Farace and the deacons are Rev. Mr. Daniel DeLucca and Rev. Mr. John O'Donahue.

There are ten men in the Class of 2000. At the end of May, each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to a parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Cardinal to assist the pastor of a parish.
