Father Wilson attended St. Joseph School, Cheltenham, Cardinal Dougherty High School, Philadelphia, and LaSalle University, Philadelphia, before entering St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood.

Concelebrants are Reverend Joseph Quindlen, Reverend John Shelley, Reverend John McFadden, Reverend Marczewski and other priest friends. The homilist is Reverend Peter J. Welsh and the deacons are Reverend Mr. Khoa Nguyen and Reverend Mr. Dominic Amedeo Jr.

There are ten men in the Class of 2000. At the end of May, each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to a parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Cardinal to assist the pastor of a parish.
