First parish elementary school to be founded in thirty-four years
Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will bless the new parish elementary school on
3:00 p.m.
St. Maximilian Kolbe School

Westtown (Chester County), Pa.
The Liturgy for the Blessing of Schools will take place on the grounds outside the school. The Cardinal will then place a crucifix in each of the classrooms. Hosting the reception after the blessing of the school will be Reverend Monsignor Hugh P. Campbell, who is the founding pastor of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, established in 1986. All of the parishioners have been invited to this memorable occasion.
The new three-story facility includes 18 classrooms, a parish hall, a large gymnasium and a library. The school can accommodate 520 students. This year, they have 416 students in kindergarten through seventh grade.
