CARDINAL BEVILACQUA TO CELEBRATE MASS AND OFFER PRAYERS
FOR VICTIMS OF TERRORIST ATTACKS

Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will celebrate a special Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in the wake of the acts of terrorism in New York City and Washington D.C.

Cardinal Bevilacqua has also asked all 283 parishes of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to hold prayer services. Cardinal Bevilacqua also requests that all priests address the tragic events that occurred in New York and Washington, D.C. in their homilies on this coming Sunday, September 16, 2001.
