East Goshen, PA

The ceremonies will begin in the Church with a welcome from Reverend James J. Foley, pastor of Saints Peter and Paul Parish, followed by a prayer service with Cardinal Bevilacqua giving the homily. The blessing of the school will take place on the grounds outside the school. Cardinal Bevilacqua will then bless crucifixes to be placed in each of the classrooms. An open house will be held for parishioners in the new facility immediately following.

Saints Peter and Paul Parish was established in 1967. The new school facility is a first for the parish. The parish launched a capital campaign to build the $6.5 million school and religious education center to address the educational needs of the growing number of young families with children that have moved into the area. The new two-story building includes 19 classrooms, computer lab, gymnasium and cafeteria. The school eventually will accommodate 570 students. This year, the school has approximately 200 students in pre-kindergarten through third grade. The parish plans to add a grade every year.
