The Pennsylvania-Delaware Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture has selected Saint Edmond's Home for Children as the site for their Annual Arbor Day Project on

Saint Edmond's, a home for children with mental and physical disabilities, is a facility of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It was nominated for the Arbor Day Project by member John Ward. Each year the Pen-Del Chapter visits a site to trim trees, remove debris and landscapes grounds. The Chapter was founded in 1960 and currently has over 500 members consisting of arborists, researchers, educators, horticulturists and individuals interested in the care of trees and landscapes. Approximately 100 volunteers are expected to attend the event.
