Father DeLacy attended St. George Parish Elementary School in Glenolden, Delaware County, Monsignor Bonner High School in Drexel Hill, Delaware County and West Chester University before entering St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood.

The homilist is Reverend Peter Welsh. The deacons are Rev. Mr. Richard McFadden and Rev.Mr. B.J. Taglianetti. Concelebrants include Reverend Monsignor Paul V. Dougherty, Reverend Michael P. McCormac and Reverend Stephen J. Baker.

There are four men in the class of 2004. At the end of May, each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to a parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Cardinal to assist the pastor of a parish.
