MASS TO BE CELEBRATED FOR TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO AT HER ALMA MATER, ARCHBISHOP WOOD HIGH SCHOOL
The school community of Archbishop Wood High School, Warminster, will celebrate Mass and pray for Terri Schindler Schiavo, a brain-damaged woman in Florida and a Bucks County native. Auxiliary Bishop Joseph P. McFadden will be the main celebrant, joined by priests of the school and nearby parishes, to lead the students and teachers in prayer. Students will provide music for the Mass. Media are welcome.

Approximately 1,200 students and staff of the school will pray for Ms. Schiavo, who is expected to be have essential nutrition and hydration withdrawn from her on Friday, March 18 by order of a Florida court and at the behest of her husband, Michael Schiavo.
Terri Schiavo was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Southampton, and a 1981 graduate of Archbishop Wood High School.
On March 18, the school community will have the opportunity to pray for Ms. Schiavo through adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the school chapel. Friday adoration is a regular practice at the school. Students have prayed for her in daily morning prayers during the current school year.
