A member of St. Paul Parish, Norristown, Father McFadden attended St. Paul School and Kennedy-Kenrick High School, Norristown, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood. He currently serves as a deacon at St. Philip Neri Parish, Lafayette Hill.

The homilist is Reverend Joseph Gleason. The deacons are Rev. Mr. Joseph Irwin and Rev. Mr. Marc Capizzi. Concelebrants include Reverend Monsignor Charles Vance, Reverend Reverend Monsignor Michael Fitzgerald, Reverend Harry McCreedy and Reverend Gleason.

There are five men in the Class of 2005. At the end of May, each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to a parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Cardinal to assist the pastor of a parish.
