A native of Seoul, Korea, his most recent assignment was deacon at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish in Horsham. He attended Bupyung Nam Elementary School, Inchon, Korea, as well as Webster Elementary School and Saint Helena School both in Philadelphia; Central High School; Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood.

The homilists are Revered John Park and Reverend William McGeown. The deacons are Rev. Mr. Martin Iwanowicz, Rev. Mr. Patrick Hoare and Rev. Mr. Patrick Cahill. Concelebrants include Reverend Ik-Joon Choi, Reverend Hyun Kim and Reverend Paul Lee.
There are seven men in the Class of 2007. At the end of May, each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to a parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Cardinal to assist the pastor of a parish.
