A native of South Philadelphia, his most recent assignment was deacon at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Morton. He attended Saint Matthew School; Father Judge High School for Boys, and Holy Family College (now University) before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood.

The homilist is Reverend Peter J. Welsh. The deacons are Rev. Mr. Robert C. Burns and Rev. Mr. Joseph M. Oliver. Concelebrants include Reverend Monsignor Charles E. McGroarty, Reverend Monsignor John M. Savinski, Revered Daniel Mackle and Reverend Mark J. Haynes.
There are seven men in the Class of 2007. At the end of May, each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to a parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Cardinal to assist the pastor of a parish.
