BLESSED TERESA OF CALCUTTA PARISH CELEBRATES
GROUNDBREAKING OF NEW PARISH CAMPUS IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY

Most Reverend Daniel E. Thomas, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, will preside over the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish Campus in Schwenksville, Montgomery County. Father Paul C. Brandt, Pastor of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, will also participate in the ceremony, as well as officials from the state, Montgomery County and Limerick Township.

Cardinal Justin Rigali, Archbishop of Philadelphia, established Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Limerick Township in July 2006 through the consolidation of St. Clare Parish in Linfield and St. Peter Parish in Pottstown.

The construction of the parish Educational Center will be the initial phase of the project followed by the construction of the Parish Church. The Educational Center will consist of a Pre-K through eighth academic program as well as a full-time year round day care facility. The Center will also contain the Parish Hall/Gymnasium.

The members of the new parish have worked over the past fifteen months to create their new parish campus at the intersection of Swamp Pike and Neiffer Road, Limerick (Montgomery County).

Parishioners of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta have been asked to bring food items that will be donated to the Mother Teresa's Sister who work in Norristown, Montgomery County.
