AT DREXEL NEUMANN ACADEMY
Volunteers including Keystone Mercy Health Plan (DMHP) will build a playground from the ground up in one day for the students of Drexel Neumann Academy. DMHP and a coalition of community organizations will be building a new, safe and healthy playground for the children. Keystone Mercy's leadership team and associates, along with community organizations, will be joined by employees at Neumann College and students from Mercy Vocational High School.
Groundbreaking for a new playground and basketball court will take place on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. The building of the new playground will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2008 between 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. followed by the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Drexel Neumann Academy is an independent Catholic school located in Chester, Pennsylvania. The Drexel Neumann Academy is co-sponsored by Neumann College, Saint Katharine Drexel Parish, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and the Sisters of Saint Francis of Philadelphia.
