CARDINAL RIGALI TO CELEBRATE
ANNUAL MASS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
ANNUAL MASS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Cardinal Justin Rigali, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will be the celebrant and homilist at the annual Mass for Persons with Disabilities. The Mass is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Department of Pastoral Care for Persons with Disabilities, which together with Parishes and affiliated church organizations, is committed in the effort to raise awareness and create access for people with all abilities to the life of the Church. Approximately 1,000 people are expected attend.

The One Flock Choir, which is made up entirely of students from the Archdiocesan Special Education Schools, will be the featured guest choir at Mass. Tonya Dorsey and the New Vision Choir will provide the liturgical music. Volunteers from area Catholic youth groups and Archdiocesan High Schools will be on hand to assist in accommodating individuals with different abilities. Participation is encouraged among individuals with disabilities, their families, friends, neighbors and caregivers. All are welcome to attend.
In addition, a reception will be held immediately following the Mass in the Archdiocesan Office Center at 222 North 17th Street. The Nevilaires Choir will provide musical entertainment for the reception.
