Cardinal Justin Rigali, Archbishop of Philadelphia, during the celebration of Mass will bestow the abbatial blessing upon Rt. Reverend Richard J. Antonucci, O. Praem., as the fourth Abbot at the Norbertine Order's Daylesford Abbey. The Norbertine Order is a Roman Catholic Order of priests and brothers. In keeping with the mission and vision of the Abbey, Abbot Antonucci has chosen as his motto, "Of One Heart On The Way to God."

Cardinal Rigali will be joined for this celebration by Abbot Antonucci by Most Reverend Louis A. DeSimone and Most Reverend Martin N. Lohmuller, retired Auxiliary Bishops of Philadelphia; Most Reverend Michael A. Saltarelli, Bishop Emeritus of Wilmington, DE; Rt. Rev. Hermenegild J. Noyens, O. Praem., Abbot General Emeritus of the Norbertine Order; Abbots of the Norbertine Order, clergy, religious and laity.
The ceremony will begin with a procession into the Abbey Church of the Assumption, and includes other key visuals such as the Litany of Saints and prostration of the Abbot-elect; the prayer of Abbatial Blessing; presentation of the rule and abbatial insignia (ring, mitre, pastoral staff); and the sign of peace exchanged by the bishops and abbots.
