Saint John's Hospice, now part of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, has served homeless men since 1963. Guided by the motto "charity unlimited," if offers a place to stay for 40 men and provides them with assistance to break their cycle of homelessness. The Good Shepherd Program houses an additional 12 medically-fragile homeless men. Day services include a place to shower and change, receive mail, obtain clothing and shoes, and meet with a case manager. Lunches are donated and prepared by parish and school groups throughout the region for over 300 men each day. Saint John's also operates an overnight coffee house for over 25 men every night of the year.

The Open House will include time to meet staff, residents, donors and volunteers, a silent auction, dinner, entertainment and special presentations.
