FROM CSS STAFFERS TO CATHOLIC RELIEF SERVICES FOR HAITI RELIEF
On Friday, February 5 at 1:30 p.m., Most Reverend Timothy C. Senior, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, on behalf of the staffs of Divine Providence Village, St. Edmond's Home for Children and Don Guanella Village and School, Delaware County, will present a check to Candice Harris, of Catholic Relief Services' U.S. Northeast Regional Office, to benefit the Haiti Relief effort.
The check represents donations from staff members of the Developmental Programs of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It is with respect and compassion for the Haitian people that this small effort will assist those so desperately in need. One additional contribution was made by Jamie Manella, a resident of the Cardinal Krol Center at Don Guanella Village, for developmentally disabled young adult men. Mr. Manella insisted that staff members accept his savings of $4.00.
