Cardinal Justin Rigali has announced that Stella Maris School may remain open for the 2010-2011 school year, dependent upon registration, as parish planning continues in the region to strengthen Catholic education on the elementary level.

The Pastor of Stella Maris Parish, Reverend Peter DiMaria, informed the faculty this morning. A letter, signed by Father DiMaria; Sister Lawrence Elizabeth, S.S.J., Principal of Stella Maris Parish and Ms. Mary E. Rochford, Superintendent of Schools, was sent to school families.
