ST. PATRICK'S DAY OBSERVANCE MASS
Cardinal Justin Rigali, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will be the celebrant and homilist for the Saint Patrick's Day Observance Mass. Concelebrants of the Mass include, Bishop Joseph P. McFadden, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia as well as Reverend Christopher M. Walsh and Reverend Kevin J. Gallagher, Chaplains for the St. Patrick's Day Observance Association.
The Philadelphia Emerald Society Pipe Band will lead a procession from Saint Patrick Parish Rectory to the Church at 8:45 a.m.

Following Mass, Cardinal Rigali will join marchers from over 215 groups in the 240th Saint Patrick's Day Parade. The parade theme is Saint Patrick, Model of Unity for the Church and the World. Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 2:00 a.m. also marks the beginning of Daylight Savings Time. Mass goers and parade watchers should be reminded to move their clocks ahead one hour so that they don't miss out on the celebration.
