A native of Glenside,PA. Rev. Mr. Gardner has been serving as deacon at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish in North Wales, Montgomery County. He attended Bishop McDevitt High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts (2006), Master of Divinity (2009) and his Master of Arts (2010) degrees from Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.

The homilist is Reverend Martin T. Cioppi. Concelebrants include Reverend Monsignor J. Michael Flood; Reverend Joseph D. Brandt; and Reverend Monsignor Phillip C. Ricci. The deacons are Reverend Mr. Marcin D. Kania, and Reverend Mr. Christopher P. Picollo.
There are six Archdiocese of Philadelphia men in the Class of 2010. At the end of May, each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to an Archdiocesan parish where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Cardinal to assist the pastor of a parish.
