Reverend Jerome Pohl, Retired, died on Monday, January 9, 2012.

Father Pohl was born on July 16, 1932, in Oborniki, Poland. He was ordained on July 1, 1967, by His Eminence Cardinal Boleslaw Kominek for the Archdiocese of Wroclaw, Poland, and was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on May 30, 1984.

Father Pohl served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Laurentius Parish, Philadelphia; Saint Hedwig Parish, Chester; Saint Mary Parish, Conshohocken; and Saint Adalbert Parish, Philadelphia. He retired from active ministry in June 2003.

Father Pohl's funeral will be held in Poland on Friday, January 13, 2012.
