Reverend Nicholas J. Dininni, died while visiting San Diego, California, on Saturday, July 14, 2012.

Father Dininni was born on July 27, 1959, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Richard J. Dininni and Isabel A. Mangas. Father Dininni attended Saint Aloysius Parochial School, Pottstown, Saint Pius X High School, Pottstown, and the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas, Rome.

Father Dininni was ordained an Oblate of Saint Joseph by Most Reverend James Clifford Timlin, on October 16, 1993, at Saint Anthony of Padua Parish, Exeter, Pennsylvania, and was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on February 4, 2002. Father Dininni served as an Oblate of Saint Joseph both as Assistant Pastor and Pastor, Saint Rocco Parish, Pittston, Pennsylvania. Father Dininni served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Cecilia Parish, Coatesville, and Saint Patrick Parish, Malvern. He also served as Pastor at Immaculate Conception Parish, Levittown.

The Reception of the Cremated Remains will be held at Saint Aloysius Church, Pottstown, on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 9:30 AM, followed by visitation with the family. Most Reverend John J. McIntyre will celebrate a Funeral Mass for Father Dininni at Saint Aloysius Church, Pottstown, on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 11:00 AM. Concelebrating the Funeral Mass will be Reverend Paul McDonnell, O.S.J., Reverend Thomas J. Brennan, Reverend Joseph L. Maloney, Reverend Francis J. Mulranen, and Reverend John V. Oulds. Father McDonnell will be the homilist.

Father Dininni is survived by his mother Isabel, and his brothers, Henry, Richard, and Robert. Internment will be at Saint Aloysius Parish Cemetery, Pottstown.
