| Synod Documents PromulgatedOn Thursday, May 29, 2003, the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, Cardinal Bevilacqua promulgated the Decrees and Declarations of the Tenth Synod of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. These important documents contain the enactments of the Synod, and go into effect on June 29, the Solemnity of the Apostles Saints Peter and Paul. In addition, Cardinal Bevilacqua issued his Pastoral Reflections on the Tenth Synod, which introduce the Synod enactments and describe the Archbishop's experiences.
