The Summer Meals Program runs from June 17 through August 23.

Today at a special ceremony, Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia blessed the Youth Skills Building Program, a new after-school ministry in South Philadelphia.

The newly launched trade education program aims to reduce risk factors for Philadelphia youth.

Martha’s Choice Marketplace and Community Farm will partner with the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove to host a multi-site celebration for Pollinator Week.

Each graduate will wear a cap and gown to receive their diploma, award certificates, and a gift bag filled with essential kindergarten supplies.

Throughout 2024, CCUSA is hosting a series of advocacy training forums around the country to increase awareness surrounding the homelessness crisis and build a network of informed advocates committed to influencing local, state, and federal policymakers.

This gathering will focus on the plight of those experiencing homelessness and how to best serve them at the community, state, regional, and national levels.

In 2023, Nutritional Development Services collected nearly 75,000 pounds of non-perishable items through this initiative to support those in need.

Around 150 guests will be in attendance including approximately 100 newcomers as well as program supporters, staff, and volunteers.
